About GoLibrivo
We want quality scholarship to be easy to reach — and easy to prove.
GoLibrivo started from a simple frustration: academic research is growing fast, but for most libraries it's still scattered, hard to search, and impossible to report on. Big aggregators are priced for large research universities; smaller institutions are left stitching together sources by hand.
So we built a platform that does the unglamorous work properly. It recognises your campus by IP and single sign-on, and organises everything — journals, volumes, issues, books and theses — behind one search box.
We curate peer-reviewed scholarship indexed in the databases researchers trust, and we're honest about coverage. No dark patterns, no inflated catalogue numbers, no "millions of articles" you can't actually deliver to a student.
And because every subscription is judged at renewal, we treat usage analytics as a first-class feature, not an afterthought — COUNTER 5.1 reporting alongside a live dashboard your librarians can read at a glance.
What we believe
- Access should be invisible. If a reader has to think about how they got in, something is broken.
- Licences are not optional. We verify redistribution rights per item — and link out when we must.
- Evidence over adjectives. Usage data, not marketing copy, is what renews a subscription.
- Built for every size. A teaching college deserves the same reliability as a research university.
Want to see it on your own campus?
We'll set up a trial scoped to your institution and walk your team through access, content and reporting.
